My family and I have a small farm of 21 chickens right now. We are located in Lutz,FL. But we plan to expand to many more. We have:I have 1 Black Copper Marans hen, 2 Buff Orpingtons, 1 unknown cross breed, 1 Black Ameraucana hen, 1 Blue Silkie, 1 BR cross roo (unsure of the other cross), 1 Barred Rock hen, 2 Rhode Island Red hens, 2 Easter Eagger hens, 1 Golden Sex Link hen , 1 Production Red hen, 1 Buff Laced Polish hen, and 1 Black Crested White Polish hen.We also have 6 cross breed chicks that are Easter Eagger/Barred Rock cross, 2 Black Ameraucana/Barred Rock crosses, Barred Rock cross/either a Production Red, a Rhode Island Red or a Golden Sex Llnk cross, Barred Rock cross/Barred Rock cross, and a Barred Rock/unknown cross breed cross.We only have 2 coops right now and all of these breeds together so the chicks are always mutts. But in the future I plan to make breeding pens and get plenty more breeds when we get the time and money.
